It’s Monday, and you head to the office early to finish up your slides for a presentation you’re giving at noon. You feel like a sardine in your packed subway car, but your Sant Ambroeus jardigan remains wrinkle-free. You finish your slides at 11:15—enough time to take a walk and finish listening to your audiobook (did we mention you’re hosting your book club tonight?). You nail your presentation, and then spend the rest of the day alternating between working diligently and procrastinating. It’s all about balance.
Daycare starts late on Wednesdays, so you begin the day by “working” from home. (i.e., you spend three hours entertaining your toddler.) Your Merritt jardigan is so stretchy you could play Twister in it, but luckily, your little one is content to explore her analytical side with some plastic numbers. No need to change before you head into the office—your jardigan always looks freshly steamed.
You made it to Friday! Celebrate with a croissant from your favorite bakery and a splash of your favorite color. You have a lot to do before happy hour tonight, so you grab your headphones, find a quiet nook, and get to work. There’s something about a comfortable outfit in a vibrant color that makes you feel extra productive, and—what do you know?—you finish up early, just in time to pop into that gallery you keep hearing about.
