What to Buy with Your Ready to Vote Discount

We’ve made this tough decision really easy for you.

By Caitlin Abber

Whether you’ve been canvassing for months, phone banking for a candidate, or double-checking to make sure everyone you know is registered to vote, you’ve been doing the good work to increase voter turnout in the 2020 election. And while we hope your big reward is seeing the candidates you support give acceptance speeches on November 3rd, we’re excited to say thank you as well with a discount code for some of our favorite pieces.

That said, we can understand if you’re a little decision-fatigued—2020 has been nothing if not one tough choice after another. So we thought we’d make it easy for you by putting together a little guide on great options to buy with your Ready to Vote discount code. Think of it like a voter guide for your closet.

If You Want to Try Something New

If you’ve spent the majority of 2020 in the same jeans and sweats, you might be looking to 2021 as a chance to mix things up. Why not go all in and invest in a few pieces that will make getting dressed fun again? We love the Bennett jacket in bordeaux for a sophisticated pop of color, the Lindsay dress in sea salt/ivory for some whimsy, and the Demi jumpsuit for a one-and-done look that’s just as comfortable as a sweatsuit, but ten times better looking on Zoom calls.

If You Want to Get Cozy

With winter coming up, we can also imagine you might want to cocoon yourself in something soft and hibernate for as long as possible. But cozy doesn’t have to be sloppy. In fact, we find we feel the most at ease when we’re draped in something luxurious. The Graham kimono is the piece you throw on to make coffee in the morning—and for an unexpected FaceTime from your mother-in-law. The Daphne sweater is the perfect luxe, drapey cardigan for a socially-distanced Thanksgiving food-swap, and the Kendall is the cashmere top you can wear with anything—including sweatpants.

If You Want to Wear Real Pants Again

But let’s just say you’re over sweats all together (although we would be remiss not to mention our decadent new cashmere joggers…) and want to step into a pair of perfectly tailored pants like a real adult woman so you can properly seize the day. Hats off to you! We recommend the Mejia pant for a sleek, slightly cropped look. If you want something slouchier, the Tinsley trouser offers a cool menswear vibe. And if you’re looking for something that is a little breezier but still polished, the Zhou culotte in a bright color is your best bet.

If You Want to Prep Your 2021 Wardrobe

We’re leaning into an abundance mindset over here and really trying to manifest a better 2021. We miss trading weekend stories in the office kitchen, making after-work plans, and even (gasp!) commuting. If you’re feeling the same way, we recommend stocking your closet with a little hope. The Emily in claret is a bold and beautiful choice for a back-to-office dress. The Carson blazer can easily be popped over your everyday cotton knits, and the Anderson pant is a structured bottom that can be worn with sneakers, heels, or ankle boots (the shoes we miss the most).

If You Want to Start Holiday Shopping Early

While we’re assuming you’ll be using your Ready to Vote discount for yourself, maybe you want to use it for some gifting, too. Nothing says “I wish I could hug you” more than the Morandi (though the Arbus sweater is a close second). The Houndstooth scarf is another great option, especially if you’re shopping for someone who loves classic accessories (um, all of us?).
