Japanese Craftsmanship
Some of our newest pieces were only made possible by Japanese inventions and techniques. Click here to read more about how Japanese culture and craftsmanship have shaped M.M.’s approach to design.
Interweave
To create these pieces, we worked with a Japanese company called Yonetomi, which specializes in luxurious tailored tweed knitwear.
Silk Jersey
This yarn comes from a Japanese manufacturer who developed a special protein coating that gives silk some of cashmere’s best qualities: durability, body, softness, and breathability.
Micro Pleat
To produce these floaty styles, we worked with a Japanese company that has incredibly extensive skills (and history) in machine and hand-pleating.
Made in Japan
Some of these styles are made from Japanese-produced fabrics and yarns, while others were fully manufactured in Japan.
