About Maggie Bakes
As a self-taught home baker, Maggie Downing spent 15 years obsessively perfecting her pies. After winning a blue ribbon at the D.C. State Fair in 2019 and further honing her craft during the pandemic, she took my pies from a hobby to a business in 2022. She’s passionate about baking with the freshest seasonal fruit and coming up with unexpected flavor pairings.
