This jacket has the sharpness of a blazer, thanks to traditional lapels, and the comfort of a cardigan, thanks to a stretchy-yet-structured knit material. Tie the sash at the waist to create shape through the torso, or wear the Merritt open for a more relaxed look.
Stylist tip: To remove shoulder pads, simply pull the pads out through the small hole near the internal seam of the shoulder.

Stylish and comfy all in one.
Easy polish Enough structure to lend polish, weighty but not heavy, and the belt draws attention to the waist. This one landed me a job - I was so confident and comfortable that I could focus on the interview and not the outfit.
The sleeve length is perfect. I have an older jardigan, same style, with very long sleeves that require folding back.
Love this jacket in concept and execution. The fabric so far has been nice and has a nice drape. The hips are a bit narrow for my shape, but I looped the belt behind and wear open. It really goes nicely with ponte pants and the Nora effortless blouse.
The first jacket had a pull in the weave. The company responded to me quickly by sending out a replacement. It was a flawless resolution. I will buy more products. The quality is excellent and now I also have had an excellent customer service experience.
This is the jardigan I have been looking for! Had the Woolf Jardigan for years, which has been great (easily throw it on whatever and can be tucked into a purse without wrinkling), but wanted something that was less snug in the upper arms (I do pushups) and closed more over my chest area for modesty reasons at work. The Merritt fits the bill and is a wonderful addition to my growing MM collection!

Love this and see it as a key piece of my spring wardrobes. I ordered a size larger to have extra worn when I have it belted.
Perfect weight, and color and fit.
Very nicely made jardigan, looks polished and professional for work yet works great as a casual sweater with jeans. I like the lapels, just wish it had pockets but I get that could change the silhouette. Still not sure about the shoulder pads, but concerned if I remove them the jardigan will lose its structure. I'm 5'10, 131 lbs and ordered a small, fits good other than the sleeves feel a bit short yet the shoulder seams fall a bit past the shoulder. Another reason not to remove the pads and probably the only reason I gave it 4 out of 5 stars. Otherwise love it and certainly will keep it.
this is a very structured top and I love the material. I purchase a small and the fit was perfect. Cant wait to wear it.

I didn't catch his name, but the salesperson, a stylish African American Male with adorable earrings (diamonds?) who helped at the MM La Fleur in Georgetown, Washington DC was truly a gem. I stumbled into the store because my CVS paper grocery bag started to crack and my shampoo and conditioner fell to the floor. He immediately sprang into action and let me have a stronger bag. I also confessed I was in need of another layer since DC was colder than I'd anticipated it when I packed for a work trip. He found me the perfect item for my outfit. He has a discerning and honest flair for what suits different body types and he had a geniune desire to help customers with both their clothing needs and their situations! I regret I didn't catch his name (that is why I described so much above) because he went above and beyond to be helpful.

The jardigan is one of my hardest working items in my closet. I'm on my second of this style. I love it.
Love the sweater, I already own one in black which I have had for years. It has held up really well. I have a large, wanted to try the medium. I also ordered a pair of pants. I decided I preferred the large and wanted to try a different pant. I was returning, and buying new outright given the black Friday discount. I was offered additional discount to do an exchange while doing so, so I processed that way. It did not allow me to add the black Friday additional and it was late, so I emailed the next day. Was told I could not combine, despite it did not say that at time of purchase. So I Iost out on the discount. Then once you did the exchange the pants I wanted were sold out. I missed out on the pants, the discount, and had a pretty poor experience. Disappointed overall. It had been a bit since I was back and now I recall why.

I bought this to replace the same piece that is worn out. I was once complimented on my outfit while wearing the Merritt in line at Starbucks on a layover … after getting off a 15 hour flight. If that isn’t miraculous I don’t know what is.
Best navy sweater in this blue-eyed lawyer’s closet! I cut out the shoulder pads though, please stop including those if possible! Please and thank you from a 5’10” athlete.
