This tailored blazer is made from a machine-washable, wrinkle-resistant fabric that looks perfectly polished but is so comfortable, you might be tempted to nap. Its single-button closure creates an hourglass silhouette, and zippered pockets offer just the place to store your essentials.
For reference, I typically wear a size 4/6. Based on the description of this jacket as “fitted,” I ordered a size 6. I also own the O’Hara Everyday Crepe jacket in a size 4, which fits perfectly with great comfort and drape.
However, the size 6 in this style was too tight in the shoulders and waist. After reading other reviews about sizing challenges, I decided to try a size 8—and that ended up being the best fit. It’s still tailored but offers a bit more ease through the shoulders and waist.
I do wish sizing were more consistent across M.M.LaFleur pieces, as it can be difficult to find the right fit without ordering multiple sizes.
Looked good on, well cut. However the material is definitely not a suit, so I wouldn't wear it to work meetings where that's expected - I only wore it on travel days. And after maybe 6 or 7 wearings the seam is coming apart. I've never even washed the jacket because it's a top layer and I really didnt wear it enough to warrant it. Absolutely not worth the price for less than 10 wears.
Have this perfect blazer in two colors now- great as a separate to throw on over my favorite barrel jeans or go full on boss lady mode with the matching culottes. Ideal for travel, business casual, fancy business days, and off duty time too. No wrinkles! Machine wash! On point color!
This material is perfection. No wrinkles, looks professional with that dash of uniquely cool that MMLF delivers. This color is very pretty and different!
Great jacket
This is my fourth Moreland purchase. “Wine” is very purple - and on the hang tag the color is actually listed as “Açaí.” I’m not sure why MMLF decided to advertise these as Wine, because Açaí is much closer to the true color. My usual size 10 Moreland ran a tad smaller this time around, most noticeably through the waist (and this is after shedding a few pounds). The fit is perfect through the shoulders, though, so I won’t return/exchange … I most likely will just not wear it closed. (FWIW, the Colby in 10 was TTS.)
Versatile, comfortable, timeless
Such a great jacket! It’s a little thinner than most blazers but it’s amazing that it’s machine washable! Really flattering too, definitely gives a defined waistline, and so comfortable. Bought it in a second color (black) but the olive is really nice.
This is my second purchase of the same jacket. I bought the first in black. Worth the investment. Classic cut, elevates everything I pair it with. Comes out of the suitcase ready to go.
The world’s most comfortable and flattering blazer. Impeccable cut! Stretchy fabric holds its shape but gives you room to move. No wrinkles. Perfect for Texas heat and humidity. I could wear this with jeans or for a court appearance.
Ordering easy. Nice to get a discount offer because the items are a bit pricey. The Blue is more royal/sea than the deeper cobalt blue than expecting which would have made the jack look even more elegant. Overall good experience, fast delivery.
The Ocean Blue Jacket is my second of these blazers. It is now my favorite. It’s TTS and honestly seems to fit better than my grey one (slimmer waist—I have to size up for my shoulders). Perfect stretch and the color is amazing. Will go with so much.
Getting ready for work has become so much easier with having the Moreland Travel Blazer in my closet. So easy to wear and love that it is so low maintenance.
This blazer is easy to wear and it looks fantastic. Although I rarely wear suits, I bought it with the Vicky tank and Colby pants and have already wore them twice in two weeks. The separates mix and match easily, and I can change out the shirt I wear when pairing the jacket and pants to make the outfit dressier or more casual.
The Viridian Shade Is A Pop of Joyful Spring!
This is my third Moreland Travel Blazer, the fit of the blazer pairs well with many items. My other two have washed and traveled very well.
I love the olive color. The only issue is that I can't get out the wrinkles. I have hung it in my bathroom since I received the blazer in hopes that the wrinkles would come out with the steam from my showers. I love this blazer because it's easy to wash. I just hang it up to dry. I own 5 different colors. Please offer this in other colors, such as deep purple or forest green or beige.
First time shopping at the Philadelphia store. I was Impressed with the wonderful associates. The knowledge of the products and detail to customer service was phenomenal.
I will Be a loyal customer from now on!
I had to go up one size for the jacket, as the shoulders were a little narrow for me. It's also a bit short-waisted even in the larger size - the button hits at the bottom of my ribcage - not the narrowest part of me. Thought this was a little odd as the arms and overall length work well for my 5'-10" self. Not a dealbreaker at all though, still fits really well, and love the olive color.
Sharp blazer with great shape even though it’s lightweight and a stretchy fabric. Loving it already - paired it with the slim pants and it’s a sharp suit with a modern twist
I sized up because I think this jacket runs small when you wear thicker under-layers. I really like the design and function of this jacket and hope I’m able to wear this color as much as my black one.
