Double-Digit Dressing Brunch Panel and Shopping Event

Our Co-Hosts on Double-Digit Dressing

Melissa Henley:

Double-digit dressing is an extension of the feeling that you can be stylish, professional, and beautiful, regardless of your current body. My body at 46 is not my body from my 30s, and that’s okay; I can honor the body I have today. No matter your size, you deserve to feel good about how you’re presenting yourself in the workplace and in your personal life.

Maigen Thomas:

As someone who grew up around diet culture, it’s really important for me to continue to practice self love, even though my body doesn’t look like what I was told it should. I deserve to love myself, regardless of what size the tag in my pants says.

Amy Lutjens:

To me, double-digit dressing means recognizing that everyone deserves to be clothed in a way that is dignified and elevates how they move through their day. The societal idea that size is assigned a value versus just being a measurement is one that needs to be neutralized and overcome. I still grapple with internalized beliefs about what it means to wear a double-digit size, which just underscores the need to flip the script.

Missy Cohen-West:

Style transcends size. At this stage in my life, I want to wear clothes that celebrate who I am and what I’ve achieved. I’m looking for garments that not only fit and feel good on my body but also project my true self to the world, regardless of the number on the tag.

Jessica Erickson:

Bodies come in all shapes and sizes, and we all deserve to have beautifully constructed clothing that acts as armor for all facets of our lives, whether a size 00 or a size 20.

Haven Cassidy:

At this juncture in my life, I seek clothing that promises both confidence and comfort, no matter the size on the label. Embracing double-digit dressing has become a meaningful way to honor and reflect where I am in life.
