Stylist Tip: We recommend sizing up on the Ivory Better Than Denim Jeans—they shrink slightly after repeated washing.
Model is 5'11" and wearing a size 4, which has an inseam of 30 1/2" and 28 1/2" when cropped using the internal snaps. The rise is approximately 11 3/8" from top of waistband to inseam.

The Milo is wide-legged, high-waisted, and hemline-adjustable—in other words, it’s the “it girl” of jeans. Undeniably cool and secretly stretchy, it’s the one you wear on a casual Friday at the office, for date night to the new restaurant in town, or simply just because (they really are that comfortable). Machine-washable with a classic zipper and back pockets.
This fabric is made from GOTS-certified organic cotton.
Note: We recommend pre-washing this style before making any alterations, since minor shrinkage may occur.
Washing may result in minor fading.
Machine wash cold. Do not bleach. Line Dry. Medium iron. Dry clean okay.

What makes this fabric better than denim?
Our Turkish two-way stretch cotton has all the features we love in denim (wrinkle resistance, plenty of structure, subtle texture)—but it’s way stretchier, far more comfortable, and polished enough for the office.
These stretchy jeans work well for those who don’t usually wear jeans they fitted me perfectly and are very multi purpose. The price makes them an investment peice. They are a great comfy multi purpose peice of clothing. They washed well in the machine on cold ( inside out)
Ordered in size 8 and size 10. Returning the size 10 and keeping the other. Ordered 2 more pair in different colors. Hopefully the fit will be the same.
Great pants!
They are shorter than I thought so I won’t be snapping them up. Overall I like the high waist. Not sure I am sold on the fabric as they really don’t look like jeans. The softness is lacking. But I will still wear them when I want something a notch up from jeans.
These pants are OK but I don't love them as much as I had hoped. I vascillated between two sizes and chose the larger one (4), which seemed OK when they arrived (so I threw away the tags and packaging.....may make them hard to return) but then after wearing for a day they stretched and became too big on me. I now I think I should have got the smaller size. Also, they make a swishing noise when I walk, perhaps because they are too big. So I would say if you are choosing between sizes go for the smaller one. I do love the snaps to make the legs shorter though, that's the only way they can work for someone who is 5'3" like me.
Nice casual pant - getting them altered right now, so haven't worn yet. I like the quality of the fabric for certain. Novel idea on the snaps to shorten. Do wash them BEFORE any alterations. Minor shrinkage in length, but enough to not need to get them shortened. Only tailoring the waist. I normally wear a 20. Got an 18 and still needed to take in the waist a bit.
Wow! I am a longtime fan of the Milo style. The velveteen fabric is a tremendous addition. I have dressed these up with a blazer or down with a tee. They took me through holidays effortlessly. Thank you MMLF for the dressier version of this closet staple.
I love these jeans! I had been wanting them for years and finally bit the bullet when they were on sale a bit over the holidays. I had to size up from my normal MM pant size to get the right fit - they are a little on the tight side!) but once I did they are perfect and I want to wear the all the time, the structure is so beautiful. Same gripe that I usually have with MM, the package they arrived in was so unimpressive for such a fine-quality product. I've seen brands do much more with packaging at a lower price point for their merchandise.
I’m obsessed with the Milo Jeans and the velveteen fabric is such a fun twist on a classic style! The dusty blue color is a great swap for denim, when you want a little more polish but dot. Want to sacrifice confort. These pants have enough give that I can still wear them on my period but they hold their shape and look sharp. I think this is my fifth pair!
I initially loved the Milo jean. The size 2 fit beautifully, the length was appropriate for my 5'9" height, and I received many compliments when I wore them.
Unfortunately, after washing them exactly as directed—cold, delicate cycle and hang dry—the jeans shrank by more than two inches. The website states that a size 4 has a 30.5-inch inseam in the full-length version and a 28.5-inch inseam when cropped. After washing, my supposedly full-length jeans measured approximately 28 to 28.5 inches—essentially the advertised cropped length.
Customer service described this as shrinking “a little bit” and explained that the fabric behaves like traditional denim. But losing approximately two inches of inseam is not minor shrinkage, particularly when the website shows a 5'11" model wearing the full-length version. There is simply no realistic chance that someone who is 5'11" could wear my jeans at their post-wash length as shown on the website.
I tried washing them again, steaming them, and ironing them, but nothing restored the original length. I also attempted to salvage them by taking down the hem approximately 1.5 inches, which left a visible line from the former hem.
These jeans were beautiful before washing, but the amount of permanent shrinkage was unacceptable for a product at this price point. The care instructions and product description should clearly warn customers that the full-length jeans may shrink to approximately the cropped inseam after washing.
I really like these pants. They are very comfortable and stylish. I got compliments. Only 4 stars because the rise is very very high for short waisted people like me and the back pockets are really strange... the are almost side set with the point of the pocket pointing down the side of my leg. I think it looks fine but is a bit strange.
These pants felt terrible. The fabric was rough and way too heavy for the climate I live in. Also the wide leg swallowed me and I am 5'8" tall. Please do better!
The fabric and construction are wonderful! You can tell the product is great quality.
The size 12 were a little snug on my abdomen, which where I carry my weight. I'm 5'8", 180 lbs, 55 years old.
