The straight-leg version of our popular Horton pant, the Smith is elongating and impeccably tailored—but with an extra-streamlined silhouette. Try this machine-washable suiting trouser with the matching Yasmine blazer, or go Power Casual with a polished T-shirt.
I already have a pair of Smith trousers and really like how they fit. So, the ice blue pair caught my eye. I don't usually wear a pastel color but thought I would give it a try especially for spring and summer. I paired it with the Zosia cardigan, also in ice blue. A bit different for me but quite nice. The fabric has a nice hand.
Just bought this, but Smith is definitely a staple in my closet already. I bought it in dark navy and will be ordering it in black. The fabric and construction are great. Belt loops let me polish it off with a nice leather belt. Will wear for years.
Happy with fit, very classic. Wish the pockets were a bit more functional and the weave on the wool is more textured than I anticipated. Love that they are lined and the drape is fantastic.
very pretty jacket. bought with matching smith pants. good fit after i sized down. arms long and had shortened from the shoulder due to real button closure at wrists.
Washed before altering. Quick word of warning - when washed, this jacket/pants looked blotchy while damp. No worries. It dried beautifully. Very little shrinkage. Makes a stand-out, but still refined suit in the teal color. Happy with this purchase.
The color is not really teal. It doesn’t have enough blue in the green to make it teal. It is not the color that I expected based on the picture, so I am a bit disappointed.
The color and feel of the fabric are lovely and will be very comfortable for work. I am 5'1" and these are several inches too long. I wish these came with different lengths on offer to be more size inclusive.
Comfortable, stylish, and slimming! I sized up to 0 from my usual 00 to get a drapey look. I bought with the matching Yiyan blazer and it made a nice suit!
I loved my first pair so much I bought a second pair. Oddly enough, the cut/fit of the second pair is different- it bulges out at the hip, so I’ll have to get it tailored. I was a bit disappointed that it wasn’t exactly like the first pair but it is otherwise a lovely pair of pants and worth getting altered to remove the bulge.
First, these pants fit me a bit small compared to the Hortons - I sized up from 00 to 0 in these. They are comfortable and I received compliments on them. I feel the lighter color shows wrinkles in the back of the legs that were totally absent in the model pictures. I had them in the 00, and I thought that was due to them being snug, but they persisted in the 0. My husband said it wasn't bad. I feel they are slimming, and I decided to get another pair in navy. The navy color doesn't show wrinkles and is also really flattering.
Love them, great quality etc., just like other MMLF items, but also as usual - too long. I have to get these hemmed by a few inches even for wearing with heels. I'm 5'3" and then end up dragging on the ground.
