For this first installment, we’re hosting Sarah Brown of Brighton Media to share her advice on public speaking, crafting compelling presentations, mastering your delivery, and best practices to keep in mind when dressing for screen and stage.

Sarah Brown

Founder & Principal, Brighton Media

Sarah Brown, founder of media and presentation training firm Brighton Media, is an experienced communications expert with a deep understanding of what it takes to prepare spokespersons and speakers. Throughout her career, Sarah has prepared spokespersons for thousands of top-tier media interviews. She has coached a diverse range of leaders and personalities, including executives from Fortune 100 companies, startup founders, technical experts, members of the media, and other professionals. Sarah is also a skilled spokesperson herself, participating in hundreds of media interviews. She is particularly passionate about helping accomplished, successful women own their expertise publicly. Before founding Brighton Media, Sarah worked at some of the world’s most well-known brands, including Marriott, Hilton, and tech event CES. A Maryland native, Sarah graduated from The University of Arizona with a bachelor’s degree in communications and Georgetown University with a master’s degree in corporate communications and public relations. She currently resides in Bethesda, Maryland with her husband and two children.
