I have two Evangeline’s and they are the biggest secret anyone has ever kept. I keep them by my desk and throw them on whenever zoom starts (sweatshirt style, I don’t even use the buttons) and I look like a VP but feel snuggly. Perfection. TTS.
This piece is just as lovely as the other reviews say. Much more substantial in feel than other MMLF jardigans, and looks more like a jacket than a cardigan. Sizing is TTS.
Did you hear that? I just squealed when I tried this on. It's like Coco Chanel just walked into my closet. I'd been looking for a white tweed jacket kind of thing and this Is even better. I have this top in the black/white bouclé and already loved that; this is the perfect light/neutral version. Looks amazing with jeans, light trousers, or as a topper over a dress. Will be perfect for spring/summer. I will say, it's a little smaller at the bust than the last one I bought, but not a dealbreaker.
The fabric was my reason for buying this jacket. Very tightly woven so that it is almost tapestry. So luxurious. Runs slightly small. I will be wearing this jacket for years to come. Glad to see MM embracing different fabrics like this one.
Unique versatile jardigan
Am in love with this textured jardigan, is like no other. Small is perfect fit, not boxy, on 5’4” 130 lb person. Colors woven into the black and white fabric are subtle but really pop. Even the buttons with gold trim are stylish and high quality, adds polish. Won’t wear in Tennessee summer, but it is a three season sweater jacket for sure, over white, black and denim pants or black or white dress.
What an elegant, elegant item perfect true size need more of that style make it a standard. It’s absolutely perfect. It would look amazing in navy in a dark red. It is perfect in a cream color. Make it more make it more. Don’t make it special.

Sweater and Jacket in One!
Beautiful jardigan looks like a ladies jacket but has the coziness of a sweater. Fabric is soft. Because it is a sweater, it does have weight to it. Fit is somewhat boxy,you may want to size down. Also I found the sleeves to be a little long. You may need to cuff them.

This is worth pouncing on--a really lovely, well-made piece that you can wear just as easily with jeans as with a nice dress. I like the more substantial weight; it means this jardigan can function 3 seasons out of 4 (and you can keep it in your office during the summer when the A/C is blasting). And all the pockets are functional!
Stylishly boxy, long sleeves good for tall
The fabric is substantial and stretchy. I ordered the larger of my 2 sizes and found the fit stylishly boxy (great fit wearing open over a tucked shirt) and the sleeves are long enough even though I am tall.
My MM Lafleur stylist recommended this and commented that the sleeve length would probably work for me. I wouldn’t have tried it otherwise and I’m delighted I did!
Just, wow
I was not prepared for how thick and luxurious this jacket feels. It is way thicker than the other jardigans - in a good way. The bouclé-looking knit looks great with jeans or black/tusk Milo pants and a cream or black top underneath. Very versatile, very classy! I wore it to present at a conference and felt like a million bucks! The only thing is that the fabric at the elbow seemed a little flattened out after the first wearing - I have noticed this with other MM knit blazers like the Porter.

In the past month, at my daughter’s instigation, I have purchased 3 pants and 3 tops. Love them all. Fit is perfect (she took measurements) and I love them all.
Gorgeous lady jacket!
Love everything about this jacket. I originally ordered a medium but returned for a small. I’m typically a 6 in MM blazers (Ross, Yiyan, Moreland), a medium in the Woolf and Sant Ambroeus and a small in the Merritt.
A new classic
The Evangeline Jacket is a comfortable and stylish boucle knit that will work for me over dresses and with high waisted pants. I went with medium size (I vary between 6 and 8) to be sure I had enough length.
