The Style That Binds Us, co-founded by mother daughter duo, Alison Bruhn & Delia Folk, is on a mission to advance & empower women. Prior to starting The Style That Binds Us, Alison was an in-demand personal stylist & Delia interned at Versace & worked at Barneys on the buying team.

They offer digital styling courses where they cover body types, color analysis, style for female executives, visual/personal branding, closet edits, capsule wardrobes & more. They partner with companies to elevate their employees' professional image and boost confidence through strategic personal branding and executive presence. Their customized corporate partnerships empower the company's team to make smart choices about their professional appearance, leading to increased productivity, more business opportunities, the firm being more competitive and ultimately, a stronger bottom line.

Michelle Silverstein McCormick

Michelle Silverstein McCormick joined Merrill in 2023 as a Financial Advisor and is a member of the Winter Stein Potvin Hokin Group. Prior to becoming a Financial Advisor, Michelle had an illustrious career operating within startups in the online consumer tech space and co-founded a consumer online marketplace business called The Verticale which focused on sustainable and conscious shopping brands. It was during her time as a founder that she learned first-hand the importance of financial wellbeing and planning for entrepreneurs, one of her main focuses in working with clients. She is extremely passionate about mentoring women in their careers and helping them both grow professional and in terms of their financial independence.

Michelle received her B.A. in Rhetorical Studies from Bates College in Lewiston, Maine. She is a native New Yorker and continues to reside in downtown, Manhattan, just a few miles away from where she grew up. She recently was asked to co-lead and form the Junior Board for the non-profit Wellness In The Schools. In her free time, Michelle mentors growing female professionals, stays active at fitness classes, plays tennis, and loves to spend quality time with her family.
