Second time I've purchased this same sweater. Works for casual wear on the weekends or with work pants or under a blazer. Soft and comfortable with the detail of the button-up back. I normally wear a 10-12/medium or large, but find MM sizing incredibly inconsistent; I have every size from XS (in the Mira Anywhere Shirt) to XL (in the Slinky Jersey dresses and tops) in my closet, and they all fit. I took a L in this sweater.

Larissa Pointelle Sweater - 365 Cotton Silk Knit :: Red Ribbon

This sweater is more cottony feeling than another sweater I have (not MM) that is cotton and silk. But it’s still nice. I am usually either L or XL with MM, and got the XL in black. The XL gives me the looser fit I prefer. The length is perfect, works for my long torso but still a more current length. The button detail in the back is special, and so is the pointelle. I can tell I will wear this a lot.

I loved everything about this sweater. I had it in size large in the pink, but the Syrah was not available in large so I thought I would try the medium. It was a bit tight and a bit short so I had to return it. I would have exchanged it for the large, but there were no sizes left in this style in the Syrah color. Beautiful fabric, great design with buttons down the back. Colleagues at work have commented on the pink one that I already had. More like this, please!

This is my third Larissa. It is my most worn top aside from the t-shirts. I usually wear XS in tops but I get this one in a S because the slight slouchiness lends a relaxed look that suits me best. I would buy this sweater in any color that was offered. The fabric is the perfect combination of silk and cotton- it’s a nice weight but with a soft feel and washes up well. The buttons down the back and the detail on the shoulders and sleeves add interest and subtle sophistication. Perfect sweater.

Details set this Larissa Sweater apart from the average sweater. The open work down the sleeves and around the collar are so pretty. I purchased the my normal size and it provides a nice loose fit. The look with the buttons in the back is unique and I was concerned that sizing down would possibly cause a bit of gaping between buttons. Buying my normal size there was no gaping but still chose to wear a tank under it…just in case. The weight of the sweater is perfect to wear alone and with something under it. I think the next time I might wear my ivory Lagarde shirt under it to accent the open work.
